Clear light yellow with reddish lavender and charcoal pattern. Ruffled edge, chartreuse throat, and blue green foliage. Consistent bloom, strong scapes, sunfast to the high 90’s. One of my best and most used pattern parents. Some patterns have poor plant habits, but not this one! Out of Mad Jacky by a Faulkner seedling. Fertile.
This is a cherry red cascade, with a very green throat. It has 2 branches, 16 buds, in most conditions, but with good culture and rain, it bud builds and has 3 branches and 22 buds. Bloomed over 2 months this year. Out of Rose F. Kennedy x Earth Jewels. Unusual Form Cascade. Named for Kenan Witczak whose life was shortened by the rare Krabbe Disease. He passed away recently at 7 years old. His Grandfather asked me to name a daylily for him. His family and extended family have most of the plants, but a few are left. Fertile. I have 3 future intros with this as a parent.
Note, there is a law in Illinois now called Kenan's Law, that provides for testing at birth for this rare, devastating disease, THAT IS PREVENTABLE. When I think about it, and Kenan, I tend to cry, but tend to smile when I see this daylily bloom. Jim
This stunning late bloomer is a cream to blush pink with green throat in the morning, fading to a cream near-white cascade with yellow throat on hot days. Nice gentle ruffles, completely sunfast. It is extremely well-branched (5 branches, 26 buds) and a great performer. Blooms 70 days under good conditions. It is out of Late Report x Just Jessie. Fertile.
