Indelible (Murphy, 2026) 32” ERe 6” dormant diploid (“Blue two”)
Cream lavender with large saturated blue-ish purple eye. Occasional patterning, cream midribs, small green throat. 3 branches, 23 buds.
This is the long awaited “blue 2” seedling that puts an indelible stamp of a huge eye on almost every kid. Not only a supreme hybridizers plant, but a great garden plant too. Hard to pass it up with that look. It will pattern to a small degree, but mainly a solid eye. I have at least 7! Future intros from it! Reliable rebloom once established here.
Parentage: (Energy x ((Evil Gnome x Pale Behemoth) x (Bo Knows x Faulkner
seedling))).
We sold out of this one in less than a day, and have a waiting list. None will be available for at least one or two years. Jim

Lavender-red bicolor with purple band, green to cream throat, and cream
midribs. 6 branches, 21 buds. Very well spaced blooms with an unusually long bloom season. Some rebloom. Sturdy scapes, smokey color on cool mornings, quite sunfast. Easy parent. Another in the Ocean line of my introductions. Ocean Spirit, Ocean Depths, Ocean Tides, Oceana, and this one. All are well branched.

The Long Run (Murphy, 2026) 37” ERe 6” dormant diploid, UF Crispate Cream with reddish-lavender multi-patterned eye, green throat, ruffled
petals. 5 Branches, 23 buds. One of the most reliable patterns that I have seen. Most patterns are not that reliably patterned. Wonderful scapes, long bloom period and rebloom to some extent here. Won an achievement medal this year at the Richmond Va flower show. Excellent, easy parent. Wonderful patterns. Parentage: (((Mad Jackie x Faulkner seedling) x Navajo Pony) ((( Military School x Faulkner seedling) x Starlight Splash)x Best Uncle))

Thomas Frederick (Murphy, 2026) 42” La 8” dormant diploid, UF Crispate
Cream and Lemon-cream reverse bi-tone with lavender eye, large green throat.
Bud Builder, produces proliferations. 6 branches, 44 buds! Thomas Frederick is named for Marcia Zech’s grandson. This plant starts blooming late, and bud builds until near frost with good conditions. It has big, healthy proliferations. On several scapes this year in a good location, it went from bud counts in the mid forties at bloom time to budcounts in the mid 80s via budbuilding. Sets pods, but not easily. Excellent parent for amply branched and budded lates with eyes.
Parentage: (Busy As A x Alice in Londonland)
