Black Red nearly sun-fast blooms on sturdy ,bullet-proof, drought, wind, rain, sun and root competition tolerant plants. The most stunning part of the plant is the crimson star tiny eye just outside the throat. Hard to photograph, but seems to be there every day, even in the afternoon. Chartreuse throat with line thin midribs just barely there. Out of (EGGPLANT ESCAPADE x EGGPLANT ECSTACY) x CHIEF BLACKHAND. Fertile, 3 branches, 17 buds in spare conditions. HARD DORMANT with BLUE GREEN freeze resistant foliage. Excellent, pod fertile parent of very dark dormant kids.
