CASEY'S CURLS
(Reed 2005)
40" MLa 6" dor. dip. Complicated and curly, this one is named after my daughter Casey
(who is complicated and complex but has no curls!). Basically bright red and yellow, the red color is washed
out on the petals that are edged in lighter yellow color, with yellow midribs. Yellow to olive throat. With ruffling and recurve,
this is showy in the garden. Good grower. The form is variable and sometimes pinches into crispate forms, but usually recurves.
Gets fancier on long, hot days.
