GORILLA (Reed 2005) 30" M 7" dor. dip. Rich grape purple, with a clean white throat, GORILLA has a relatively short scape, with large, spatulate blooms (the petals become quite wide, showing off the purple color). I chose this as a good companion to ORANGUTAN, in terms of height, although they have a very different bloom season. Blue-green foliage.
