SURFIN DUDE
$50.00 |
Murphy, 07 - 36" La 7" dor.dip. Bicolor lavender and reddish-purple. Fertile, good grower This lavender and reddish purple bicolor has a purple eye and a chartreuse throat on well branched scapes with good bud count. It has an unusual look, and attracts attention from far away, like it's sibling, OCEAN SPIRIT. It is sort of that crazy relative that we all have on one side of the family, a little bit different, hence the name. Fertile, good grower, out of (Grey Witch x Magic of Oz) x Loch Ness Monster. This plant has proven to be an excellent bud builder, staying in bloom until frost. On hot days, the throat area of the sepals turns a cream color. I have never seen this on another daylily. Generally, petals and sepals fade equally in the sun. |

Murphy, '05 - 44" EMRe 8" semi.dip. Clear lavender and creamy lavender bitone, dark eye, lt. green throat. Smooth, clear lavender and creamy lavender bitone with a dark lavender eye, chartreuse throat, and green heart. This is the narrowest of the siblings, but did not make the 4:1 spider ratio. It is large, graceful, and tall, and has a very long bloom season. Three branches, 26 buds, instant rebloom, vigorous growth, and good foliage, makes this a winning daylily. It is fragrant, has extended bloom, and has sturdy scapes holding graceful blooms. Parentage: RADIANT MOONBEAM X MOUNTAIN TOP EXPERIENCE |

(Murphy ‘09) 48” M 9” Dor Dip ext. Red Spider. My long awaited first intro from BRILLIANT IDEA by KIRSTEN MADELAINE BURKEY is not to be missed in the garden. It starts blooming here about July 1st and bud builds until September 1st . Unlike many red spiders, it is wide open on cool mornings at dawn and blooms until after dark. It has a red eye, green throat, lemon midrib, 5/1 spider ratio, and excellent foliage. Fertile, |

TRANCE
$50.00 |
Reed, 2008 - 36" M 7" dor. Dip. UF cascade. Clean bright lemon, rose red band, ruffled branched As I focus on cascade form daylilies, this one stands out for its consistent form and clear color. A clean bright lemon yellow with a rose-red band, it is neatly finished with large ruffles on all segments. Well-branched and budded, it is fertile. This is a child of Casey at the Bat, crossed with a gold cascade seedling. It presents the blooms well. |

TREE TURTLES
$55.00 |
(Reed, 07) 56" L 5.5" dormant, diploid Quite tall, like pink turtles blooming on the top of 4-way deeply branched scapes (24 buds). Out of LOLA BRANHAM, this one blooms late and long. The blooms are not large, but recurved pink blend shells with darker pink stippling above a green throat. Its garden name was "Pink Towers". Fertile both ways. I am using it to bring pink colors into the tall cultivars. It was registered when I knew it would be an introduction, but it didn't get lined out for introduction until this year, because it blooms so late in the season. |
