OCTOPUS TANGLES (Murphy, 2007) 46” MRe 9” Evergreen Diploid UF Crispate OCTOPUS TANGLES attracted attention on it’s first bloom, when 10 people were clustered around it exclaiming WOW! at it’s radical 14” bloom. Some plants are like that - put out huge first blooms, calming down later to just 9” or 10” blooms. The extreme quilled crispate blooms are a flashy gold, creped, folded, and twirled. Very green throat, and a small cream edge. Tall, with only one branch, and low teens bud count, but has reliable instant rebloom here. The huge blooms will mean a quick sell out!
