(Murphy, 2013) 33" EM 7" dormant, diploid; Unusual form crispate, Polymerous
This melon self poly is a pinched crispate. 90% poly, but this year almost 100%. I selected through 5 siblings to this one and it proved to be the most consistent garden plant and high percentage poly. Fertile both ways. Excellent grower and garden plant. Reblooms frequently here.
(Murphy-JP, 2023) 53" ML 6.5" Dormant Diploid, UF Cascade

(Murphy, 2020) 26" E 5.5" dormant, diploid; 3 branches, 15 buds; Patterned;

Creamy lemon with etched and lightly patterned reddish-lavender eye. Striking form and colors in the early daylily garden. Fertile both ways, with a future introduction from it.
WOODHENGE NATURAL (Murphy, 2016) Fall
42” M 7.5” Dormant, Diploid, Extended UF-Crispate
Out of Negative Image by a vigorous patterned seedling.
An unusual patterned combination of colors- Red and rose dotted bitone with a darker red band, tan to cream edge, cream midribs, and yellow green throat. The dark red color and the edges fade during the hot days making the combination and pattern even more striking. Sunfast to the mid 90’s here. 3 branches, 23 buds, fertile both ways. Almost all of the kids have this type of patterning. An improvement on its very good parent, Negative Image, because it is quite vigorous.
Triple fans or larger. $30
(Murphy, 2024) 32" MLaRe 7.5" dormant diploid
3 branches, 17 buds. UF Spider form. Parentage: (Cardinal Summer x TNT)
Red spider cascade with darker shade on tepals and light green throat. Shocking red color, that is quite sunfast. There are not many spider cascades registered. Fertile, with sunfast kids.
Murphy, '05 - 51" La 5.75" dor.dip. Gold, piercing red eye, lavender midribs, orange throat with green heart.
Gold blooms with striking red eye, unique lavender midribs, and orange throat with green heart. An awesome color contrast, on tall scapes with decent branching and a budcount of 20, makes this one stand out. Fragrant, out of a Benzinger seedling by NUCLEAR MELTDOWN. Sibling to BARNEGAT LIGHT and this year's COROLLA LIGHT.
(Murphy, 2010) 48" M 9" semi-evergreen, diploid, extended, spider.
This gorgeous, sun-fast, tall purple spider has a lemon throat and cream midribs. It has very stiff and strong scapes, 3 branches and 22 buds. It is out of GREY WITCH X BLACK ICE. Pollen fertile.
Sibling to Freaky People. It has a different color contrast and is taller.
