(Murphy 2012) 47" ML 9" Dormant Diploid Spider
STRETCH is a gorgeous cherry red 5/1 spider with an extremely long bloom season. It blooms 7 or 8 weeks here once established, through bud building. Tall, at 47", with strong scapes, and 2 branches, with 20 buds. It is extremely sunfast for us, and has a yellow green throat, and yellow midrib. Out of BARNEGAT LIGHT by KIRSTEN MADELAINE BURKEY. Exceedingly fertile and makes huge, full pods. Has proven to be not only a good garden plant in the late garden, but an excellent parent as well.
Note in 2018- I kept well over twenty seedlings from STRETCH in 2017, so I think it is a pretty special parent. Guaranteed pods for us, in all conditions. 2020 Excellent.
